Workaround is a Stockholm-based startup that builds a platform for subletting small offices. Workaround matches landlords and tenants and makes takes away the hassle in finding decent office space. We have grown fast and created a profitable service in Stockholm in less than a year.
We recently launched the service in Copenhagen and are now looking for someone to take full ownership for building the Copenhagen market. Initially you will work on your own but with the ambition to recruit a local team as you scale the local business. The role involves the following responsibilities and tasks.
- Finding potential landlords and recruit them to the site and have them publish listings at Workaround (requires physical meetings, phone and email and dedicated follow ups)
- Following-up and helping inbound tenant leads
- Sales and business results in the Copenhagen market
- Building relevant networks and relationships within the Copenhagen office- and real estate market
- Marketing Workaround in Denmark. You will have support in terms of digital marketing expertise but you will have ownership of the local campaign results.
- Finding, testing and evaluating marketing channels and activities based on the local dynamics of the Copenhagen market
- Understanding the needs of the Copenhagen market and feedback relevant input to the product- and marketing team in Stockholm
- Responsible for reporting results to management in Sweden on a weekly basis
You will work independently in Copenhagen and travel to Stockholm 1-2 times / month to ensure a thorough understanding of the company and its plans. You will be requested to rent desks at coworking spaces in Copenhagen to work from in order to build relationships and experience. We believe that you have a genuine interest in learning, understanding and changing the Copenhagen office space market.
There is no criteria for type of background but you probably know stuff about sales and has previous entrepreneurial experience. You take full ownership and over-deliver on what is expected. You are a native Danish speaker and fluent in English.
You will be offered a monthly salary with an results based part. Sucessful candidates will also be offered stock options as part of the compensation package.
