About the office
We may be Stockholm's most niche office – because Metropole is far from an ordinary co-working. Here you step into a vibrant environment filled with creative companies and entrepreneurs in game development, IT, media, tech, etc. In the building you will be greeted by a friendly team, office dogs and an atmosphere where the working day should be both inspiring and comfortable. During your lunch break you can relax in massage chairs, play billiards, ping-pong or darts – or try out the arcade machine with over 3000 games. Metropole is more than an office – it is a creative network, like a real-life LinkedIn. In addition to workplaces and meeting rooms, there is a podcast and streaming studio, mini cinema/content creation room, stage and bar and restaurant. On our three floors (3,767 sqm) we create a vibrant meeting place for freelancers, startups and scaleups – with events, networks and activities all year round, even in the courtyard outside in the summer.

Surroundings and area
In historic Stockholmsverken, in the heart of coveted Södermalm, you work in an area built for creative minds. A unique environment has emerged where innovative companies in game development, design, architecture and digital technology gather. In recent years the district has attracted studios such as Fatshark and Paradox Interactive. With around 1,500 game developers in the area, Stockholmsverken is now considered one of Europe’s most concentrated hubs for game development. Just a few minutes’ walk away are Mariatorget and Medborgarplatsen, two of Södermalm’s most vibrant meeting points. The building also features Metropole’s own restaurant, Gamestreet 1 – a social hub where food, games and entertainment meet, perfect for lunch, after-work or events. With commuter trains from Stockholm Södra, buses around the corner and walking distance to much of the inner city, the location is both inspiring and practical.
Commuting
Excellent communications with Södra Station around the corner and several buses within a 2-minute walk.
