They don’t settle for renting out office desks. They build experiences, community, and an entire universe of their own. During 2025, Metropole has stepped forward as the coworking world’s odd bird — and is now rewarded with a nomination for Rookie of the Year.
Being nominated isn’t something you just stumble into. For Metropole, it’s rather a confirmation of a year marked by high speed, even higher ambitions, and where heart and care have taken up just as much space as business strategy.
It feels incredibly big and honoring. At the same time, this is an award that belongs to the entire Metropole family.

A culture you can truly feel
Behind the growth lies a strong internal culture where relationships and presence are at the core. Metropole has built its operation on a clear team spirit and a long-term approach to both people and partnerships. It’s about creating environments where tenants feel seen, involved, and engaged — something that in the long run strengthens both community and business.
Clear communication and the courage to be different
Over the past year, Metropole has been one of the coworking operators with the highest average number of inquiries per day. The explanation lies in consistent and proactive communication, with a clear identity from the very beginning. Metropole has chosen to position itself as something beyond the expected and has been open about being more than traditional office space.
We’ve been clear that we’re so much more than office space — and that has attracted like-minded companies that want to go their own way.
By daring to look for answers outside the proverbial box, they have attracted companies and individuals who don’t just want to rent a desk, but also contribute to the bigger picture.
A close collaboration with Workaround
An important part of Metropole’s development this year has been the collaboration with Workaround. Through close and transparent cooperation, with ongoing dialogue and regular check-ins, they’ve managed to build a strong presence with the right target groups — without compromising the brand’s distinct character.
The transparency in the collaboration has been crucial for us to reach the right audience, in a way that feels both relevant and precise.
A year of high speed and new initiatives
2025 has been an intense year. In a short period of time, Metropole moved into 4,000 square meters of completely empty space while simultaneously building several new business areas in parallel. The pace has been high, but with a clear direction forward.
One of the most talked-about initiatives is Gamestreet — Metropole’s entertainment and meeting destination where work, experience, and events come together. Along with a new floor dedicated to gaming and social activities, including F1 simulators and digital games, Metropole has expanded its offering far beyond the traditional office.
We’ve been running a marathon at 100-meter sprint speed — but with a clear vision of where we’re headed.
Also nominated for Coworking Space of the Year
As if the nomination for Rookie of the Year weren’t enough, Metropole is also nominated in the category Coworking Space of the Year. A double nomination that further confirms Metropole’s strong position in the coworking industry — and the work that’s gone into creating a workplace where experience, community, and quality are at the center.
Looking ahead: growth without losing the soul
Despite the rapid development, the ambition going forward is clear. Metropole wants to continue growing long-term together with its tenants and property owners, focusing on sustainable relationships and stronger win-win partnerships. At the same time, there’s a strong desire to keep being bold, creative, and curious in how the business evolves.
Metropole isn’t here to fit in.
They’re here to stand out — and right now, they’re doing it at full speed ahead.
