coworking awards berlin

Countdown Begins: The Workaround Coworking Awards Berlin data collection starts this Thursday

After four successful years in Stockholm, where the Workaround Coworking Awards grew into the industry’s largest and most critical annual event, we are now channeling that powerful energy into the dynamic Berlin market. The time has finally come to kick off the data collection process for the inaugural Workaround Coworking Awards Berlin 2025! We are immensely proud and excited to bring this prestigious initiative to Germany for the very first time.

A Transparent, Data-Driven Platform for Berlin

The overwhelming positive response to the Awards in Stockholm confirmed the need for a transparent, data-driven platform to celebrate the progress and talent within the flexible workspace industry. Berlin’s market is characterized by strong growth and increasing complexity, which creates a pressing demand for the same dedicated industry meeting point.

– We are proud to finally present the Workaround Coworking Awards Berlin 2025! It’s incredibly exciting to organize this event for the first time in Berlin, giving us the opportunity to recognize our fantastic partners who are intensely working to expand the flexible office solutions ecosystem year after year, says Nikolas Westmann, Head of Sales Germany at Workaround.

Award Categories and Timeline

For this inaugural Berlin edition, awards will be presented across five exciting categories, including "Best Coworking Space," "Best Independent Coworking Space," "Top Sales Person," and "Best New Launch." For these four categories, finalists will be selected through extensive data analysis of market activity from the past year, leveraging Workaround"s proprietary marketplace data. However, the critically important "Sustainability Leader" category is unique: for this award, we rely on targeted surveys to our industry partners to ensure we highlight the actors who truly excel in integrating environmental initiatives. This dual, data-backed approach ensures that the winners are truly those who stand out and deserve to be recognized.

The competition process officially begins this Thursday, November 20th, as we launch the data collection phase specifically for the crucial "Sustainability Leader" category. The data collection will run through New Year’s Eve, December 31st. Following this deadline, extensive data analysis will be performed between January 1st and January 12th, encompassing both our proprietary market data and the survey responses we received during November and December. Finalists will be announced by mid-January and will receive an invitation to our awards ceremony. The winners will ultimately be crowned on March 19, 2026, during an awards ceremony and networking evening co-hosted by Workaround and Mindspace.

We look forward to celebrating all the winners and elevating the industry as a whole. We strongly encourage everyone receiving a survey to provide their input to ensure we have the best possible data for crowning the ultimate winners of the Workaround Coworking Awards. Let's make this a truly memorable event together!
