Workaround goes Dutch ✈️

CreativeGrounds, Amsterdam, is a one of a kind Boutique Coworking and Office space with different thematic spaces (rooms) and private offices, offering great amounts of outdoor space (two gardens). What is so striking with the community and communication among the members, are the organized workations (work&vacation combined) to Ibiza or Vlieland.  (The rest of us are 100% jealous of these methods of treats)... 🚨

So, let us take you back to the very beginning. Hugo (Founder of CreativeGrounds) had a dream to build the most creative and inspiring space for freelancers and asked Luc to join him. They started to build a concept with the aim to inspire members as best as possible in their daily work and when they finally found the perfect building, AKA, No.7. Good times are about to take off now!

Lotte, Hugo's girlfriend and Co-owner of Creative Grounds (formal owner of the women's magazine Beautify), contributes to the interior and marketing of CG. All spaces are designed with bold colors with a sophisticated mix of antiques which blend with modern features. Every room houses different styles and decor - something for everyone, sometimes a little bit more extravagant.

June 1st, 2020 was the official opening date of building No. 7 with 60 Members. In December 2020, building number two was added to the concept with only Private Offices. Companies are referred to the No. 9 building while Coworking members are housed in No. 7 but they are connected to each other on the ground floor.

To this day, both buildings are completely fully booked, which gives you a hint of how well received this concept has been.

Luc himself has a background in the coffee industry. He has worked with Vascobelo Coffee (chosen multiple times as best coffee in the world) and has built up 17 coffee shops. Coffee is therefore a really important part of working at CreativeGrounds, with unlimited access for all members.

Luc says:

“For us it is really important that you do have 24/7 access to your office. As a CG member, it is of high importance that you feel at home in your office building, next to being able to work you can also cook (in one of the two Ibiza style kitchens) enjoy working outside or watch a movie in the new Cinema. It is also possible to read a book or have a nice drink on a Thursday or a Friday. Not your typical original office!“

“Creative Grounds is the Coworking space where you, as an entrepreneur or freelancer, are getting inspired to really get the best out of yourself. Where new ambitions arise and your dreams become reality.“

Altijd welkom in Amsterdam!
