Introduction
Workaround processes information on you and how you use our services. By your information, we are referring to the data we collect and save about you and how you use our services that directly or indirectly identifies you. We use this information to provide the services, give you a better experience, and supply offers that suit your needs in particular. As the agents responsible for personal data, we are responsible for the processing of your data and how and for what purposes the processing is done.

When you become a Workaround customer, we save the contact details that you have provided: Name, email address, phone number.
Information on the company you represent
To ensure the quality of our service, we collect company names and business registration numbers for the company you represent.
Information on your behaviour
We save data on which of our advertisements you indicate interest in and how you use our services.
This is how we collect personal data
We collect and process data that:
- You submit when you become a customer of ours.
- You provide when you contact us in the form of comments, chats, emails and phone conversations.
- Is created when you use our services - e.g. when you submit an application of interest.
- We gather in from other sources such as Syna AB
- Is collected via cookies which gather information on and from your browser.
This is what we use personal data for
For us to be able to process your data, one of the following legal grounds must be fulfilled:
- Requirement to fulfill the agreement with you.
- Requirement to fulfill a legal obligation for Workaround.
- The processing is in the interest of both you and Workaround.
- Consent from you for this particular processing.

We process personal data to identify you as a customer and to process and deliver the services you have ordered from us. We also process personal data as required for handling the invoicing and payment of the services you use.

This is how long we save your personal data
We save your personal data for as long as you are registered for our service, and there is a purpose for the processing.

We have agreements with all partners and sup-suppliers within the EU and EU standard agreement clauses for all those outside of the EU. Where applicable, EU/US Privacy Shield certification is used if processing takes place in the United States. The agreements regulate which personal data is processed, why processing is done, how personal data is to be protected and how long it is processed. The agreements also contain instructions from the personal data controller to the personal data assistant on how the personal data may be processed.
We strive to ensure that we never share more personal data than is absolutely necessary with the respective partners.
We undertake suitable security measures to ensure that your personal data is processed in accordance with the applicable laws governing security and personal privacy. We impose the same requirements on our sub-suppliers.
This is how we protect your personal data
We rely on industry standards for storing, processing, and communicating sensitive information, such as personal data, in a secure manner. Since you do not need a password to log into your account, passwords are never stored with us.
This protection is implemented using systematic, organisational, and technical measures to ensure integrity, confidentiality and accessibility.
Workaround staff are bound by a confidentiality agreement and only process the information required by their assignments.
You decide over your own personal data
You decide over your own personal data. In other words, you determine which information you wish to provide and which processing of your personal data you approve of, and you can withdraw your consent at any time you wish.
However, keep in mind that we need certain personal details to be able to provide our services to you. If you choose to withdraw your consent, this could prevent us from providing you with our services.

Right to a registry extract
You are entitled to know what personal data of yours we are processing. Therefore, you have a right to receive an extract of the registry from us. To obtain a portion of a registry extract, you must clearly indicate which information you wish to examine. We have to answer your question without unnecessary delay and within no later than one month. If for any reason, we cannot fully answer your question, we will explain the reason, and we will also notify you how much time we need to respond to your matter. In the case of a request to receive a registry extract, we will require you to identify yourself in a secure manner.
Right to rectification
If any parts of the data we process are inaccurate or if more information needs to be processed due to the reason for which the data is being processed, you are entitled to have any such inaccuracies corrected or to complement the information with additional information that may be required for processing. Once we have corrected your data, we will contact the parties to whom we have provided your data and inform them of any corrections that have been made, provided that it does not constitute an overburdening effort on our part or if it for any reason is impossible.
Right to deletion
You also have the right, in certain cases, to have your data that we have processed deleted. In such a case, please contact us (see below).
Right to restriction
You are also entitled, in certain cases, to have our processing of your data restricted. By restriction, it is meant that the data is marked so that in the future, it may only be processed for certain, restricted purposes. The right to restriction applies if you feel that the data is incorrect and you have asked for a correction. In such a case, you can also request that the processing of the information be restricted during the time we investigate whether the data is correct or not.
Right to data portability
You also have the right to “data portability” for the data you have supplied to us in those cases in which we conduct processing based on your consent or when we process information to fulfil an agreement with you. This means that you have the right to obtain the data you have supplied to us and that we have processed about you in a given format and that you have the right to transfer it to another personal data controller. The right to portability only applies to the data that we process automatically.
